Meet Dennis Mahoney
Dennis Charles Mahoney has spent his life rooted in service, family, and a deep commitment to helping others.
A proud West Side native, Dennis attended Holy Family, St. Monica, St. Martin, Gamble Junior High, and Western Hills High School before earning his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati in 1980. He later went on to receive his law degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 1990.
Dennis’ career has taken him from sales and restaurant management to real estate, probation work, and the practice of law. As an attorney, he built his career representing injured victims and disabled individuals, helping thousands of people seek justice during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Over the years, he has practiced law in Ohio and Kentucky and before several federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court.
Beyond his professional work, Dennis has always believed in giving back to the community. He has served as a Cheviot City Councilman, coached with the White Oak Athletic Association, served on the Colerain Township Board of Zoning Appeals, and remained active in numerous civic, legal, and community organizations. His professional involvement has included service with local, state, and national bar associations, trial lawyer associations, and other organizations dedicated to the legal profession and the pursuit of justice.
Dennis is also a proud father, grandfather, brother, and widower. His family has always been the center of his life, and he is grateful for the love and support of his daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, siblings, and extended family.
Whether through his law practice, public service, or community involvement, Dennis has always tried to lead with compassion, hard work, and a genuine desire to help people. His life and career reflect a simple but lasting belief: people deserve to be heard, respected, and treated fairly.
